Aymeric Leruste

Having joined Aspect in September 2008, Aymeric is in charge of Governmental and Institutional Communications.

Aymeric has expertise in the field of transformation of armed forces and consolidation of the European defense industry. He also contributed to several corporate missions related to the German energy market, including energy efficiency, debates on renewables, nuclear phase out policy, and liberalization of the grid. Last but not least, Aymeric gained a strong expertise on Public Private Partnerships.

Aymeric grew up in France and Belgium. He studied both History and Political Science in Lille with a focus on International Relations and Public Law. He spent one year at the University of Potsdam in Germany, and gained professional experience in a law firm in Paris.

After receiving his master's degrees in 2004, Aymeric went back to Germany. He first lived in Hamburg, where he worked on post conflict management and arms control issues at the Bundeswehr University and as a lecturer for French Civilization at the University of Hamburg. In 2006, he joined a Public Affairs company based in Berlin specializing in the defense and energy sectors.

In his free time, Aymeric tries to keep up in running and mountains sports.
