Jessica brings more than ten years of Brussels and Belgium advocacy experience to Aspect gained in highly regulated environments covering science and innovation, chemicals, energy, intellectual property and food and environmental policies. Notably she has been an advisor for Syngenta for seven years dealing with a wide range of issues related to agrochemicals, seeds and biotechnology. She is an experienced advocacy campaign manager with extensive experience of working directly with EU Institutions, national authorities, OECD and trade associations.
Before joining Aspect Gregory Mathieu was Deputy Director of Government Affairs with APCO Brussels and has advised several governments on EU Public Affairs. Gregory also held the role of Chief of Cabinet for Marc Verwilghen, Minister of Economy, Energy, Trade and Research Policy and served in the Belgian Foreign Service where he built a strong international network, and in the Council of Europe in Strasbourg where he was the spokesperson for the first Commissioner for Human Rights. Gregory participated in various election observation missions for the OSCE and has considerable experience of working with clients in the CIS.
